Results

Results

So, I just back from my workout. Turns out I FORGOT to write down the WOD (workout of the day: Cross Fit Term) so I decided to do a circuit workout from my Women's Health Magazine. I must have seemed really focused because a Equinox trainer even came over to me to help me perfect some of my weighted squats. I figure "why would she bother talking to me if I didn't seem like I would care." 

Warm up: Stair Master (9 minutes)-- 5 minutes level 5 --(from 1-10 being the hardest, start with 5), 2 minutes level 7, 1 minute 9 (repeat)

Circuit Training: 12 reps each, repeat 3 times
  •      Dead lifts (10 lbs)
  • Squats (20 lbs)
  • Arm Extensions (7.5 lbs) -- lie on your back with both weights above you. Slowly lower them to the ears at the FURTHEST, bring back up
  • Shower Bring back-- flat back bent over, 10 lbs in one hand at 90 degrees, when you bring your elbow up, swivel to your left. Repeat with right arm and swivel to the right. 
  • Balance on each foot while bringing opposite leg behind you
  • ABS: lie on back, legs straight above you, together guide them to the right, back to beginning, then to the left for 30 seconds. Remaining 30 seconds legs 90 degrees and crunches
  • Planks on BOSU-- 30 seconds hold, 30 seconds bring right knee to right elbow, return to start, left knee to left knee (repeat)
  • HAMSTRINGS: Balance ball, roll ball out and in for 12 each

Post workout- got my skinny Vanilla Latte and am about to make an 2 egg white omelet with my mom, EXTRA veggies ;) And guess what...I feel stronger and more livelier than I did going in..go figure.
